Do the lids really stop odors?

A sealed lid stops the transfer that makes freezer ice taste of whatever else is in there, which is the main reason cocktail ice is made in a covered tray. Both silicone trays on this shelf have lids; the bucket molds do not need one.

Can I freeze food in it?

The maker names baby food, purées, sauces and portions. That is also where the dishwasher claim earns its place — tomato sauce in silicone does not rinse out.
