  • A double seal, which on a vessel refilled five hundred times is where the failure would be — and the only stated reason this version exists
  • The same 2200 psi rating, the same 304 stainless and the same 500 cycles as the cheaper version
  • A dollar ninety over the Original, with five bullets that are word for word the same — nothing on the page explains the price

Best for: The refillable for anyone who will fill by pump and would rather have two seals than a valve

What the maker puts in writing

  • 304 stainless steel, 3/8”-24UNF thread, withstands 15 MPa / 2200 psi
  • Reusable 500+ cycles
  • New: double sealing design minimizes air leakage risks. No valve at the bottom
  • Fill by pagoda head with a high-pressure inflation pump
  • “The premise is that you have a high-pressure inflation pump.”

A dollar ninety, and one design decision

The Original has a valve in the base, so it can be refilled from a gas storage tank.

This one has no base valve and two seals instead, so it refills by pump only and has one fewer place to leak.

That is the whole difference, and it costs $1.90.

The listings are the same text

Both JaylyHala pages on this shelf carry the identical five bullets, describing the Original and the New type together.

Nothing in the body of either page tells you which you are buying. The title does. Read it twice.

And the pump, again

Not included. Not priced. Stated as a premise.

Five hundred refills at $1.05 a disposable is $525 of gas — a real saving, available only to someone who already owns a high-pressure pump.

What readers ask us

Original or New type?

Original has a bottom valve, which lets you refill from a gas storage tank as well as by pagoda head. New has a double seal and no bottom valve, which the maker says reduces leakage. $36.10 against $38.00. If you have a gas tank, take the Original; if you fill by pump, take this.

Why are both listings identical?

Because the maker wrote one block of five bullets describing both models and put it on both pages. It is confusing and it is the same text; the title is the only reliable guide to what arrives.

Is a double seal worth $1.90?

On a part rated for five hundred pressurizations at 2200 psi, an extra seal is where you would want the money to go. It is also $1.90 to find out, which is the easiest decision on this shelf.
