REVOTIO Not stated by the maker review

A home slushie machine with an 88-ounce tank, six presets and eight temperature levels, ready in about fifteen minutes.

What it comes down to Not a cocktail machine but a slushie maker — and it carries the most useful warning on this shelf: without 13 to 18 per cent sugar in the liquid, the mixture freezes into a block. Two years of warranty, which only one other machine here beats.

What the maker puts in writing

  • 88 oz tank, safe fill 54 oz · ready in as fast as 15 minutes
  • 6 presets: Slushie, Spiked Slush, Margarita, Frappé, Milkshake, Soft Serve
  • 8 temperature levels · 12-hour timer
  • Liquids must contain 13% to 18% sugar
  • Auto clean; vessel, paddle and drip tray dishwasher safe · 24-month warranty

The warning is the best thing here

For the machine to produce the perfect slush consistency, liquids must contain 13%-18% sugar content. Sugar acts as a natural antifreeze — without it, the mixture will freeze into a block.

That is a maker telling you, before purchase, the condition under which its product fails. Nine machines on this shelf and this is the only sentence of its kind.

It also quietly rules out a sugar-free frozen margarita, which is exactly the thing somebody would try first.

What it is not

A cocktail machine. You mix the drink; this freezes it. The capsule and pump machines on this shelf do the opposite, and nothing here does both.

What works, and what does not

Strengths

  • Publishes the sugar range the machine needs to work — 13 to 18 per cent — which is the single most useful sentence on this shelf
  • A 24-month warranty with lifetime technical support, bettered only by the five-year motor cover on the cheapest machine here
  • Six named presets and eight temperature levels, with every removable part dishwasher safe

Compromises

  • It freezes drinks; it does not measure, mix or pour them
  • An 88-ounce tank with a 54-ounce safe fill, so a third of the published capacity is headroom
  • Fifteen minutes is the fastest case, and a spiked slush with alcohol will take longer because alcohol resists freezing

What readers ask us

Why the sugar requirement?

Sugar is an antifreeze: it stops water forming a solid block and lets it hold a slush texture. The listing publishes the working range — 13 to 18 per cent — and says plainly what happens below it. No other machine on this shelf discloses a condition for its own operation.

Does the alcohol affect it?

The Spiked Slush preset exists for it, and alcohol lowers the freezing point further — which is why a boozy slush takes longer and needs the sugar. The listing does not give a separate time for it.

Can it make cocktails?

It can freeze one you have mixed. It has no pumps, no capsules and no measuring; the six other machines on this shelf do that part and none of them freezes anything.
