What it comes down to The only machine on this shelf that publishes its capacities: one-liter spirit bottles, a 1.5-liter reservoir, sixty cocktails before a refill and under thirty seconds a drink. An 18-ounce shaker comes with it.
What the maker puts in writing
1-liter spirit bottles · 1.5-liter water reservoir
Up to 60 cocktails before a refill
Under 30 seconds a drink
Strength from mocktail to strong, by display and rotary dial
18 oz stainless cobbler shaker included
The only numbers on the capsule half of this shelf
Three machines here take Bartesian capsules. Two of them describe the experience. This one publishes the volumes, the yield and the time.
Sixty cocktails before a refill is the figure that tells you whether it will survive a party, and it is the only one of its kind on this shelf.
The cost nobody prints
A capsule a drink, for the life of the machine. Not one of the three capsule listings here gives the price of a capsule, which makes the cheapest machine on this half of the shelf impossible to compare with the most expensive machine on the other half.

What works, and what does not
Strengths
The only machine on this shelf that publishes capacities and a yield: 1 L bottles, a 1.5 L reservoir, sixty cocktails per refill
A real 18-ounce cobbler shaker in the box, so a drink can be chilled and aerated rather than only poured
Under thirty seconds a drink with a strength dial from mocktail to strong
Compromises
Every drink needs a Bartesian capsule, and no listing on this shelf publishes what a capsule costs
No warranty published
A shaker in the box is a manual step: the machine mixes, you shake

What readers ask us
What does a capsule cost?
None of the three capsule machines on this shelf says. That is the real price of ownership: the machine is a one-off and the capsules are every drink. The three pump machines here cost five times as much up front and nothing per drink.
How is it different from the Duet?
By capacity. This one publishes one-liter bottles, a 1.5-liter reservoir and sixty cocktails per refill; the Duet publishes two bottles and a compact footprint and no capacities at all. Both were read at essentially the same price.
Why include a shaker?
Because the machine dispenses a mixed drink and a shaker adds chill and dilution — the listing says as much. It is the only machine on this shelf supplied with one, and the only other shaking on this shelf is the Waring, which does it electrically.

What buyers actually choose
Amazon reports what buyers took in the month before this page was last checked: at least 200.
The figure is a floor, rounded by Amazon, and read through Keepa — it says what buyers picked, not what a maker claims.
