Does it really fit champagne?

The listing says most wine and champagne bottles, and offers a return if it does not fit yours. That is the only champagne claim on this shelf — the ERHIRY stopper explicitly excludes sparkling wine, and a champagne bottle under pressure is a different sealing problem from a still one.

How do I know it has sealed?

By feel: you pump until it sucks itself tight. The Vacu Vin pump answers the same question with a patented click and the ERHIRY with a lever that locks down. This is the least definite of the three.
