Two things nothing else here has

An anti-tip kit, and an FSC certificate.

One eighty meters and forty-seven kilos of cabinet against a wall is a real hazard in a house with children, and this is the only listing on this shelf that puts the anchor in the box. The $399.99 cabinet is the same height and thirty-three kilos heavier, and says nothing about it.

And the number it would rather you did not dwell on

Seven bottles.

That is a third of what the cheapest unit on this shelf holds. This is a bar cabinet — glasses on show, spirits behind doors, lights that come on as you approach. It is not wine storage, and the slot count says so.

What readers ask us

Only seven bottles?

Seven bottle slots, plus adjustable shelves inside the closed cabinets that take tall liquor bottles. It is a display and drinks cabinet rather than wine storage. For wine storage at this price, the fridge on this shelf holds twenty-six.

Why does the anti-tip kit matter?

Because 47 kilograms at 1.80 m (6 ft) is a crushing hazard if a child climbs it, and this is the only unit on the shelf that ships the hardware to stop that. The Lamtor cabinet is the same height, 80 kg (176.4 lb), and does not mention one.

How does the motion light behave?

It comes on when you are within two meters and goes off fifteen seconds after you leave. Published behavior, which is rare. It is also fixed: no brightness, no color, no manual override described beyond the mode touch.
